the sky turns green
the grass turns blue
the wind stops
the rain goes
the world spins west to east
north is down
the birds are swimming
the fish are flying
the dog, holding onto a leash
yanks back
and stops a man from crawling
as two planes hit at a red light
i hear a car fly by,
i look up and watch,
the tires spinning,
it accelerates
its quiet out
the rain stopped
the sun flew around,
before dissappearing behind the clouds
the moon came soon after,
colliding with a car
millions of lives gone
at least that kind of thing's rare
the sound of planes speeding by
hits my ear
the colors swirl, i look,
left
right
left
i listen,
there's a clearing
i start across the bright red street
the hand turns on,
i know its safe
i'm halfway across, the pavement's cold against my feet
the walking man shows
a bright green light
i need to hurry
the planes are starting up again.
the light stops flashing,
its not safe
the walking man stays there
as i fly across the intersection,
landing, seeing a bright light.
