What is trust?

This thing people take for granted.

Some say it is a measurement of a person's worth,
others nothing important at all.

What do you do when this trust is broken?

Do you ignore it, allowing people to walk all over you?

Or do you act on it, burning bridges and allowing negativity in the world?

Anyone?
